| My friend and I also toured several Navy Ships including the Pacific Command vessle and several other battleships. They had some tanks and fighting vehicles on display. I learned that there is a difference - a fighting vehicle is not as armored as a tank. As I recall, the vehicle on the left is a fighting vehicle designed with the ability to take down enemy tanks. The vehicle on the right as actually a tank. Possibly I'm wrong. If so, someone may correct me. 8/99 |
